Promoted by Srijan Peace Education Centre of Yuvsatta (an NGO) the  basic aim of GREENTIRE is to motivate ‘More and more people riding bicycle more often in Chandigarh’. Cycling being a lifelong activity, it helps to contribute to the economic viability of healthy communities. To promote safer and healthy cycling Greentire daily organizes guided Cycles tours for students, professional, public and private sector employees and tourists. Plus time to time volunteers of GREENTIRE also organize Bike festivals, Cycle races, cross-country bike rides and various other events to promote and propagate use of Cycles in Chandigarh.
